I accomplished my goal of finally finishing my research paper. Through this research I was able to go more in detail about this cruel disease HIV/AIDS. I learned a lot of tiny details that I never learned in school about this virus. I’m very very happy that I have accomplished my goal of writing this paper, now I feel that everything is possible.  

This class was very helpful in improving my writing skills. I enjoyed meeting coming to class everyday and I enjoyed learning about the different Genres. Thank you Ms. Garrett. 

Ms. Garrett is an awesome professor

I really like the group presentations that we do in class because we got to discuss the readings together. Also we get to know each other and interact together, an opportunity that we don’t have in other courses. 

In this class I learned a different writing style: evaluation and reporting information

Including a personal opinion alters how you report information. A personal opinion is very important in writing because it can be used to better persuade the reader.

English 1102 is a very important class that teaches about the different writing techniques. Understanding the audience, is a technique that I worked on improving throughout this course, which helped me better improve my writing. 

My favorite Genre of literature is Humor because a good laugh releases a lot of stress. Humor is always needed especially if your a college student because stress is always hovering over us on college campus and in the class rooms.  My favorite book that has humor in it is  A Walk in the Woods by  Bill Bryson
